One of the many problems in watchmaking is rust, as you can see with this Rolex prince movement. There are also missing and incorrect parts.

Rough shape of one of the missing parts, the stud cover with the 2 holding screws drilled.

The stud cover shape has been improved with screws found and fitted. It is now ready for final polishing.

The restored movement with new parts used and supplied from Rolex. However most of these are diminishing and eventually will become obsolete. Note the hand made stud cover and also the hand made overcoil Breguet hairspring.
